A busy, well established practice with three locations in the East Valley (Phoenix, Az)is looking for a FT or PT pediatrician. We are a friendly and congenial group and emphasize a healthy work life balance and a pleasant work environment for our employees. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of Medicine, with residency in Pediatrics completed in the United States. No J-1 Visas and must possess at least two years of experience as a Pediatrician. New graduates may be considered. Candidate must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Arizona.

Requirements-

  • 2 Years Pediatrician experience required. Will consider a new graduate for the right candidate.
  • Call and rounding rotation with other providers in the group.
  • May be required to work one Saturday (1/2 day per month)
  • Board Eligible required, Board Certified strongly preferred.
  • Friendly, with a good bedside manner.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Supervisory opportunity available for a caring professional that wants to further develop their skills and knowledge in healthcare, while making a difference in patients lives and building a quality environment for the office staff. This full-time medical office career opportunity has a Monday – Friday day shift schedule 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, and is located at our outpatient practice in Queen Creek, AZ.

As the Office Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the day to day operations of the practice. Work together as a team with the Medical Director and Business Director.

The Office Manager will be responsible for:

Providing regular department and program specific reports for finance and administration.

Participating in maintaining financial stability by controlling operating expenses and monitoring revenue generation

Scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating regular staff meetings.

Providing recommendations and/or suggestions on modifications that may improve utilization, patient satisfaction or care coordination.

The Office Manager will:

Supervise and supports all staff, including providing orientation, training, and guidance.

Ensure that all office areas are adequately staffed to provide service and acts as a backup when necessary.

Select, train, counsel and terminating support staff in collaboration with Medical Director.

Present timely performance evaluations.

Monitor and approve support staff timecards; ensures staff’s compliance with attendance and punctuality guidelines.

Monitor and coordinate physician/provider time off in consultation with the Medical Director.

Determine and change work assignments as needed.

Investigate and resolve physician or patient complaints, maintains the necessary documentation and alerts the appropriate person with minimal delay.

Develops best practice protocols and workflows to maintain standards of care and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsible for consistently exhibiting polite, courteous and professional behaviors by adhering to Customer Service Standards and Standards of Behavior.

Educational, Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong financial and day-to-day operational experience. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player with physicians and staff. Strong financial and strategic experience is a must for this position. The candidate should also have strong personal and organizational development skills.

  • At least 3+ years prior experience as an office manager with a medical practice of more than 3+ physicians and preferably multiple locations. Ability to work cooperatively with physicians.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
  • Financial experience in healthcare fiscal management.
  • Familiarity with EMR highly desirable.

Other duties as assigned that are reasonably associated with the essential functions of the operations of the medical practice.
