Hospitalist Committee
The Hospitalist Committee identifies the needs of Arizona pediatric hospitalists and develops strategies to fill those needs and show the value of AzAAP membership.
Committee Achievements
The many recent activities and achievements of the AzAAP Hospitalist Committee include:
- Performed a needs assessment of Arizona Pediatric Hospitalists including an electronic survey and personal phone calls;
- Collaborated with the CME Committee to plan hospitalist-focused activities at the annual Pediatrics in the Red Rocks Conference;
- Recruited pediatric hospitalists to join AzAAP to ensure leadership is aware of their professional and educational needs; and,
- Initiated discussions with the Quality Improvement Committee and Pediatric Prepared Emergency Care Program to brainstorm potential areas of collaboration.
