Led by a nationally renowned faculty team of dermatology experts this curriculum will spotlight various aspects of a multidimensional, holistic treatment approach for pediatric patients with atopic dermatitis (AD). The presentation will provide discussion around the recent advances in the AD treatment landscape, evidence-based recommendations for care, including therapeutic patient education (TPE) regarding behavioral modifications or habit reversal techniques for itch, and through the use of patient storytelling, acknowledging the quality of life burden of patients with AD with tools to better understand how to manage quality of life aspects within the context of symptom control and overall disease management. The program will conclude with key teaching points and an opportunity for Q&A.

Phoenix Children's Pediatric Ambulatory Quality Symposium (PAQS) is a first time pediatric ambulatory health care quality event. The symposium will explore quality improvement and its impact in ambulatory pediatrics, clinically integrated networks, future trends in quality based reimbursement and quality engagement among providers. Keynote speakers and invited subject matter experts will cover on all of these topics.
